Indian cricket team defeated West Indies in the third ODI with DLS Method. The third and the last ODI of the series was played at Queen’s Park Oval on Wednesday night. Indian cricket team clean swept West Indies in this ODI series. Shikhar Dhawan became the first ever Indian captain to whitewash West Indies in their own backyard.
Indian cricket team was amazing in all the matches they played in this series. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan was not only good in his captaincy but also he performed well with his bat. He scored two half-centuries in this three-match series. He was also named ‘player of the match’ in the first ODI for his 97 runs innings.
Shikhar Dhawan was given a team not full of experience. The players who are finding their way to the Indian team were playing in this ODI series. All the players were amazing in this series, especially Shubman Gill who was opening for the first time in ODIs with skipper Shikhar Dhawan. Shubman Gill was named ‘player of the series’. After this series, India will play a 5-match T20I series against West Indies which will be starting on Friday, 29th July.
