Sir Jim Ratcliffe who loves the Premier League’s side Manchester United wants to buy the club. He told in an interview that he would like to buy a stake in the club if Glazers are open to sell. Glazers family is the current owner of the club. It was rumoured on Wednesday, 17th August that Glazers wants to sell minority stakes in the club.

Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Wednesday night that Sir Jim Ratcliffe who is an admirer of the club wants to buy it if it is ready to be sold.

“Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to buy a stake in Manchester United, spokesman tells @DickinsonTimes: “If the club is for sale, Jim is definitely a potential buyer”, told The Times. “If was possible, we’d be interested in talking with a view to long-term ownership”, he added,” tweeted Fabrizio Romano on Wednesday.

Fans are really happy to see that Ratcliffe wants to buy the stakes in the club as they keep protesting against their owners Glazers. They want Glazers out and that’s why huge number of fans have planned a new “#emptyoldtrafford” slogan ahead of the game against Liverpool.
