Skateboarding World Cup Rome: Curtain Raiser To The 2025 Season

World Skateboarding Tour (WST) 2025 kicks off in the city of Rome that will feature both Olympic skateboarding disciplines – Street and Park. The WST returns for the fifth year bringing together skateboarders and fans together from around the world.

The Skateboarding World Cup will kick off with the Park event from 1st to 8th of June at the famous bowl in Ostia, Lido di Roma. The second week of June will be dedicated to Street skateboarding, from the 8th to 15th.

The two events will see the participation of 365 athletes from 51 countries.

Skateboarding World Cup Rome: Park Event Details

Women’s and men’s park skaters from around the world battle it out for ranking points, which will help to determine seeding and eligibility to compete in World Skate events throughout the LA28 Olympic cycle.

The event will begin with a men’s and women’s open qualifier, featuring all the skaters who aren’t pre-seeded, owing to their world ranking.

Thirty-two skaters will advance from the qualifer to the quarter-finals, where they will be joined by the eight pre-seeded skaters to make a field of 40. Just 16 will then advance to the semi-finals, before the field is then cut in half again for the final.

Skateboarding World Cup Rome: Star Lineup

Among the superstars of skateboarding in attendance for Park World Cup 2025, we will be  current and former World Champions as well as Olympic medalists from both the Tokyo and Paris Games.

Current Women’s Park World Champion Raicca Ventura (#3 WS ranking) will be among headliners along side the most-anticipated Park stars Olympic gold medalist Arisa Trew (# 1 WS ranking) and Sky Brown (# 12 WS ranking), who are expected to drop in amongst over 360 entrants from around the globe.
