The England batting sensation has been enjoying his red-hot form with the bat in the longest format of the game. Joe Root finished as the highest run scorer of 2024. Apart from the runs he made, he was also one of the most consistent performers for his team.

The Sri Lankan all-rounder, Kamindu Mendis, has been in sensational form. He scored runs consistently throughout the year and added strength to the batting line-up of the Sri Lankan cricket team. Harry Brook was one of the best performers in the purest format of 2024. He was not just consistent with his performances but was also very impactful with the way he scored runs. His strike rate in the Test was 82, which is a testament of the impact that he created for his teammates in the middle order.
