Tottenham were looking to complete their first league double over Sheffield United since 1975-1976 campaign. Ryan Mason’s Tottenham started with a typical 4-2-3-1 formation. Kane played up top with Bale and Son on the Right and Left Wing respectively. Sheffield United played a 3-4-1-2 formation with Brewster and McGoldrick playing as strikers for the team.

Game kicked off and Spurs played a very attacking football as compared to the away side. In the 38th minute, Aurier from the 25-yard mark provided a long ball to Gareth Bale in the penalty box who chipped it over the goalkeeper and the ball was into the net. Half time and the scoresheet read Spurs 1-0 Sheffield United.

61 minutes in to the game and Son started a counter attack. Son ran till the 45-yard mark and passed the ball to Bale who made an excellent run from behind. Bale ran half of the pitch with no Sheffield players in front and scored a banger of a goal. Spurs 2-0 Sheffield United.

The Welshman scored his third in the 68th minute and completed his hattrick with a beautiful outside the box shot in to the bottom right corner of the net. Bale was in top form and scored his first hattrick in English football since 2012. Son scored the last goal of the match in the 77th minute and the match ended 4-0 with Tottenham taking all the 3 points.
