Spurs Top 4 hopes fades away after Leeds United Defeat

Tottenham Hotspurs lost 3-1 to Leeds United and are now 6th in the points table.

Leeds United 3-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspurs puts a huge dent in their ambition of finishing the top 4 and securing a Champions League slot for the next season. Patrick Bamford, Stuart Dallas, and Rodrigo Moreno scored one goal each for the Bielsa side. Heung-Min Son scored the only goal for the Spurs.

Spurs are now 6th in the table with 56 points and 5 points behind Chelsea who is in the 4th position, though Chelsea has one more game to play. Leeds, on the other hand, is now on 9th leaving Arsenal behind with 50 points and having a lead of 1 point over Arsenal, though Arsenal too has an extra game left.

Looks like sacking Mourinho didn’t change anything for the Spurs as they dropped points again. Once again Spurs failed to win a trophy this season and failing to book a CL spot might cost them losing their main players. Harry Kane is on the list of many clubs and he will be also looking for trophies which he doesn’t have any.
