Atletico Madrid’s star striker Luis Suarez has suffered a leg injury, the club revealed in a statement.
He would now undergo test that would reveal the extent of the injury.
This news comes as a shock to the Madrid side, whose chances of winning the league are tied to a very thin string after suffering defeats and dropping points in last 8 matches.

The Uruguayan has been a vital participant for Atletico this season after his stun move from Barcelona the previous summer and he has helped fire them to the top of the table.
The 34-year-old has hit 19 goals in La Liga this season but has just one strike in his last four matches and three in his last 11.
