Sunrisers Hyderabad to donate 30 crores to provide COVID-19 relief!
Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday announced that Sun TV is donating Rs. 30 Crores to to provide relief to those affected by the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since the IPL got suspended many of the players and Franchises came forward to make donations for COVID-19 relief in India. In recent updates Sunrisers Hyderabad has come forward to make a donation for COVID-19 relief.
Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday announced that ” Sun TV (SunRisers Hyderabad) is donating Rs.30 crores to provide relief to those affected by the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.”

Sunrisers Hyderabad in the release quoted that
SUN TV DONATES Rs.30 CRORES
Sun TV Network is donating a sum of Rs.30 crores to provide relief to those affected by the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This will be spent on several initiatives currently under way at various states of India including the following:
1. Donations to the various programmes initiated by Government of India and State governments
2. Partnering with NGOs that are providing oxygen cylinders, medicines etc.
In addition, the company will leverage its resources including all its media assets to spread greater awareness among millions of our TV viewing audiences across India and rest of the world.
It is to be noted that India is battling a catastrophic wave of COVID-19. India is recording more than 3.5 Million cases daily and more than 3500 deaths regularly. Due to increase in cases among various franchises IPL 2021 was also suspended indefinitely.
