Super Bowl LIX which took place on 9 February 2025 created history in more than one way. It was truly an epic showdown with so many iconic moments.
Super Bowl became the most-watched game show ever in the history of America. The league gathered more than 126 million viewers across all platforms. This figure is a 2% increase from last year’s show which had an average audience of 123.7 million viewers. The show was live-streamed on Fox, Tubi, Telemundo and NFL digital properties. The viewership also hit an all-time high of 13.6 million on Tubi.
The game was between the defending champions of the title Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. The viewership peaked around half-time between 8:00-8:15 p.m. E.T.
During halftime, the Eagles were 24-0 already making a way to their victory which might be a reason for a fall afterwards. The Grammy award winner, Kendrick Lamar also performed during the halftime.

Famous singer, Taylor Swift was booed during the game by fans for unknown reasons. Just an hour earlier, the crowd exploded with joy to see President Donald Trump on screen but somehow, Taylor could not get the same reaction and was left confused and shocked.
