Super Bowl LIX which took place on 9 February 2025 created history in more than one way. It was truly an epic showdown with so many iconic moments.

Super Bowl became the most-watched game show ever in the history of America. The league gathered more than 126 million viewers across all platforms. This figure is a 2% increase from last year’s show which had an average audience of 123.7 million viewers. The show was live-streamed on Fox, Tubi, Telemundo and NFL digital properties. The viewership also hit an all-time high of 13.6 million on Tubi.

The game was between the defending champions of the title Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. The viewership peaked around half-time between 8:00-8:15 p.m. E.T.

During halftime, the Eagles were 24-0 already making a way to their victory which might be a reason for a fall afterwards. The Grammy award winner, Kendrick Lamar also performed during the halftime.
