Liverpool FC defeated RB Leipzig by 5-0 in the pre-season game. The game wasn’t looking like friendly at all as Liverpool was looking furious. Though it was friendly but both the teams played their socks off to win it. However not a good start of the season for RB Leipzig.

This was Liverpool’s third pre-season game after Manchester United and Crystal Palace. Jurgen Klopp’s men were defeated by their rivals Manchester United in the first pre-season game by 4-0. They started their win tally against Palace as they beat them by 2-0. Liverpool started the game very well as star forward Mohamed Salah scored the goal in the 8th minute to give a crucial lead to the team. The half-time score was 1-0. But the things didn’t go well for RB Leipzig in the second half. Darwin Nunez who came on at half-time scored 4 goals in the next 45 minutes to win it 5-0 for Liverpool.

The first goal from Darwin came from the spot and three minutes later he scored his second. He didn’t stop there as he got his third and fourth in the 68th and 90th minute respectively.
