Pakistan win by 72 Runs against Scotland
1st Innings – Pakistan puts 189 Runs on the board
Just after the powerplay ended, Pakistan lost two wickets of Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman and they were 59/2 (9.4 overs).
Then a 53 run partnership was made between Captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez. But Hafeez departed after scoring a fine knock of 31 Runs (off 19 balls). Pakistan was at 112/3 in 14.6 overs.
However, Babar Azam was dismissed after playing a fine inning of 66 (off 47 balls). Pakistan was 142/4 in 17.3 overs. Meanwhile, in the end, Shoaib Malik’s quick knock of 54* (off just 18 balls) made sure Pakistan finished their innings at 189/4 (20 overs).
2nd Innings – Scotland’s Target is 190 Runs
Scotland lost their 1st wicket in the last over of the powerplay, as Captain Kyle Coetzer was bowled out by Hasan Ali. Scotland was 23/1 in 5.3 overs.
However, three wickets fall of Matthew Cross, George Munsey and Dylan Budge. With that, Scotland was at 41/4 (10.3 overs). But, then Shaheen Afridi strikes as he bowled out Michael Leask. Scotland was 87/5 in 15.4 overs.
