The team of West Indies and Ireland is set to face the qualifier round of T20 World Cup on 21st October 2022 (15:00 pm onwards) at Bellerive Oval, Hobart. As per the schedule, 21st October will be the last day of Top 12 battle.

However, because of their loss to teams like Namibia and Sri Lanka in 2021’s T20 World Cup, they couldn’t make it to the Top 12 at the T20 World Cup of 2022. However, the team of West Indies though being known as ‘two times champion’ couldn’t make it to Top 12 this time, as a result of their recent poor performance. Also, the West Indies team lost to Scotland by 42 runs at their face off round, which took place on 17th of October.
