The Indian T20 World Cup squad has been announced. There has been much speculation about the selection process of Ravichandran Ashwin. Clearing the air on that, selector Chetan Sharma favored Ravichandran Ashwin based on his IPL performance. Selectors chose Ashwin as he has a desire to come back. He could keep on evolving. Throughout the IPL tournament, he has stayed consistent.
Ravichandran Ashwin mentions an old quote “Every tunnel has a light at the end of it. But only those in the tunnel who believe in the light will live to see it,” it read. The off-spinner added: “I wrote this quote down a million times in my diary before putting this up on the wall! Quotes that we read and admire have more power when we internalize them and apply them in life.”
So far he hasn’t played a single match in the ongoing test against England. Hoping Ravichandran Ashwin gets his game in the final test. Best of luck with the T20 World Cup! Go well!
