Team India Celebrates The Series Win Against Zimbabwe with an epic victory dance

The third and final ODI match between India and Zimbabwe turned out to be a thriller. This last match of the series saw some of the best moments from the series. It was adorned with some captivating performances from both the competing sides. The series sided with India in the second match only, nonetheless the Zimbabwean side showed unmatched intent to claim this last match.

Shubman Gill got to his much-awaited and well-deserved century in this match. However, that being the highlight of the first innings, one of the Zimbabwean bowlers delivered an impactful performance. Brad Evans scalped a five-wicket haul against the mighty Indian team. Evans provided a breakthrough to his team as he dismissed captain Rahul, Dhawan and Gill, Hooda, and Thakur.

The second innings witnessed the unbelievable intent of Sikander Raza. Raza in his quest to win the chase registered a century of his own. The match was on the wire as long as Raza stayed on the crease. Shubman Gill, however, rounded off his blazing performance by taking a flying catch to send the dangerous Raza back. Unfortunately, despite the efforts by Zimbabwe, the match went to India who claimed it with a lead of 13 runs.

With this win, KL Rahul got to his maiden series win as a captain as Gill scored his maiden century. And thus, the win proved worth celebrating. And well, the Indian players didn’t shy away from doing just that. Minutes after the game wrapped up, the vice-captain Shikhar Dhawan posted a video of the players having a victory dance. The video showed Gill, Ishan Kishan, and Dhawan among others twerking and swaying joyously. Watch the video here:
