Tennis Player, Novak Djokovic Achieves the 89th Career Title in Tel Aviv

Novak Djokovic made a record by achieving his third title of the year 2022. This achievement, however, marks the 89th victory of his career. He managed to bring off the victory against Marin Cilic on 2nd of October, Sunday in the Tel Aviv.

This win was his 19th one over Marin Cilic in 21 meetings in a rivalry extending to 2008. He has been playing his first singles tournament since winding up a seventh Wimbledon crown along with 21st Grand Slam title in the month of July.

Moreover, this 35-year-old player triumphed 6-3, 6-4 to add the Israeli trophy to victories in Rome and Wimbledon this season. With this achievement, he is said to become the first man of 2022 to make a victory on three different surfaces. According to reports, in the year 2022 he won the Rome Masters on clay, followed by Wimbledon on grass, and finally the Tel Aviv event on hard courts.
