Indian cricket team will play Asia Cup 2022 after playing a 3-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. Indian team will travel to Zimbabwe for this 3-match T20Is. Most of the players going to Zimbabwe are not in the Asia Cup squad. Asia Cup will be starting from 27th August. Indian team will face Pakistan on 28th in their first game of the Asia Cup 2022.
Fans are unhappy seeing the squad selected for Asia Cup 2022. Some Indian fans wanted to see Shreyas Iyer in the squad who is not in good run of form lately. Despite the Indian batter Shreyas Iyer is not in good form but is the highest run scorer in 2022 for India so far. whereas another Indian batter named Ishan Kishan has also not selected for the tournament who is in the second position in this most runs list (2022).
