Gautam Gambhir is that type of guy who doesn’t get attached to only one achievement in life, the reason why former Cricketer has asked everyone to move on from the Victory of the 2011 CWC Win against Sri Lanka.
Gambhir was one of the heroes of that final, his innings of 97 played a vital role in getting the trophy stated PTI “It doesn’t feel like yesterday. Not for me at least. It’s been what, 10 years now? I am not a person who looks back too much. It’s a proud moment, but you know what, it’s time for Indian cricket to move forward. Probably, now it’s time that we win the next World Cup ASAP.”

Gambhir feels that “looking backward” might be one of the reasons for India not getting the amount of success they deserved, And wants us to move beyond the historic win & prepare to get another World Cup sooner or later.
Gambhir is currently the Member of Parliament for the BJP from Delhi seat and is a probable CM candidate for the 2025 Delhi General Elections.
