The Australian cricket team is considered as one of the oldest national teams in the world of cricket. As per reports, the squad came up for their first Test Match in the year of 1877. Later, they appeared in their first-ever ODI in 1971, their first T20I was in 2005, and the first-ever Day/Night Test took place in 2015. The team is also recognised by the names like ‘Aussies’, and ‘Men in Yellow’.

For many years, the team has participated in all the editions of ICC Cricket World Cup. The team is said to win the title for 5 times, which however includes a hat trick of titles from 1999 to 2007.
