The Zimbabwe National Cricket team is often recognized by the nickname, “the Chevrons“. However, the team is said to be composed of excellent players. As per reports, the team has been a Full Member of the International Cricket Council since the year of 1992. As per ICC rankings, Zimbabwe hails the 10th position in Tests, 13th in ODIs, and 11th in T20 Internationals. But the team failed to achieve some of the most interesting matches with a margin of few runs. Despite their incredible efforts, they were defeated in some of the breathtaking matches.

- Match 6: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh- Zimbabwe lost by 1 Run- Played on 25 July 2021 (T20)
- Match 7: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh- Zimbabwe lost by 1 Run- Played on 22 July 2021 (T20)
- Match 8: Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh- Zimbabwe lost by 2 Runs- Played on 18 July 2021 (ODI)

Besides the above-mentioned matches, there have been more competitions where the team was defeated in a similar manner. The Zimbabwe National Cricket team tried to come up with their best form but failed to register victory to their names in those interesting and hardy matches.
