Chair shots have undoubtedly been one of the most infamous and intense attack moves since the inception of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and witnessed an enormous adulation during the WWE’s attitude era that lasted from the late 1990s to the early 2000s.
Numerous prominent and legendary WWE superstars, including Triple H, The Rock, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin and many others, implemented these unprotected chair shots and dominated their opponents for years. Although the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) company banned the iconic chair shots in the late 2000s due to chronic injuries, they still continue to feature in intense matches like TLC (Tables, Ladders & Chairs) with a higher degree of caution and precaution.
In this article we will take a look at the top four most brutal and iconic chair shots that dominated the history of WWE.

The Rock vs Ken Shamrock At The RAW 1998

The iconic Intercontinental Championship match between The Rock and MMA specialist Ken Shamrock still serves as a prime example of The Rock’s cunning and fearless approach. Although in the initial few minutes of the match the former UFC fighter, Ken Shamrock, dominated the Rock with his stiff punches and submission attempts, The Rock made a strong comeback with his signature “People’s Elbow” move.
As the match progressed towards the climax, The Rock pulled out the steel chair and aimed it at Ken Shamrock’s head just when the MMA fighter managed to intercept the Rock’s attack and struck him with the same chair. Just when Michaels grabbed a steel chair to weaken Triple H, he brutally attacked Michaels on his lower back in order to end his wrestling career.
