The inaugural Women’s Hockey World Cup took place in 1947 which marked a significant step in international field hockey competition for women.

She also led the national team to victory in two Women’s World Cups in 2002 and 2010. She also helped her team secure six Champions Trophy titles throughout her career. Ellen Hoog
Ellen Hoog is a world-renowned Dutch player who won two Olympic gold medals and a silver in 2016. She was also a part of the winning team of the Women’s Hockey World Cup twice in 2006 and 2014. She also contributed her team to winning the Women’s EuroHockey Championship thrice. She also bagged the Champions Trophy title twice in 2004 and 2005.
