Under the guidance of Lopez, Paolini won her second WTA 1000-level crown at the Italian Open and also lifted the women’s doubles title at the French Open.

“We had some great results together. Especially in Rome and Paris,” Paolini wrote on social media on Monday. “I appreciate all the hard work and energy Marc gave every day.

“Now that this part of the season is over, I’ve decided to make a change. “I’ve learned a lot and made good progress. And now I’m taking the time to reflect on what the next step will be. Thank you again, Marc, for everything.”

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Goran Ivanisevic

Stefanos Tsitsipas parted ways with coach Goran Ivanisevic after a brief stint together in July.

Tsitsipas, a two-time Grand Slam finalist who fell out of the top 20 in June, started working with 2001 Wimbledon champion Ivanisevic after his second-round loss at the French Open in late May.

“Working with Goran Ivanisevic was brief but an intense experience and a truly valuable chapter in my journey,” the Greek star Tsitsipas wrote in a statement posted on Instagram. “I’m thankful for the time, effort and energy he dedicated to me and my team.”

Naomi Osaka and Patrick Mouratoglou

After less than a year of working together Naomi Osaka and Patrick Mouratoglou announced their separation in late July.

The former World No. 1, who started working with the legendary coach back in September, confirmed the split on X.

Osaka and Mouratoglou didn’t achieve much success.  The four-time Grand Slam champion started the year with promise, reaching the final of the ASB Classic in Auckland, but she was forced to retire after the first set with an abdominal injury. Later that month at the Australian Open, Osaka won her first two matches before again having to retire after the first set with the same injury.

“Merci Patrick,” the 27-year-old wrote. “It was such a great experience learning from you. Wishing you nothing but the best. You are one of the coolest people I’ve ever met and I’m sure I’ll see you around.”
