While filming for his movie “Playing with Fire” in Vancouver, Canada, John Cena met Shay Shariatzadeh for the first time in February 2019, who was working as a distinguished engineer and product manager.

The couple started officially dating and were spotted together for the first time in February 2019 during the premiere of John Cena’s movie “Playing with Fire”. On 12 October 2020, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony at an attorney’s office in Tampa, Florida.

  • Roman Reigns and Galina Joelle Becker

At the second spot in our list of the top four WWE stars and their non-wrestling spouses, we have the legendary American professional wrestler and former football player Leati Joseph Anoaʻi, often popularly referred to by his ring name “Roman Reigns”. Well, Roman Reigns’ love story seems to be straight out of the fairytale.

The couple first crossed paths in 2005 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where Roman Reigns played football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and his wife, Galina Joelle Becker, proved to be a standout track and field athlete. After almost a decade of being in a relationship, the couple got married in a private ceremony in December 2014 at Disney’s Castaway Cay, a private island in the Bahamas.

Next, at the third spot in our list of the top four WWE wrestlers who found their partners outside the wrestling world, we have another American professional wrestler, Dominik Mysterio, who ended up marrying a sensational singer, Marie Juliette. The couple first met in 2011 at the age of fourteen in high school during a Spanish class at Horizon Christian Academy in San Diego and felt an instant spark.

After being together for over a decade, Dominik Mysterio and Marie Juliette officially tied the knot on March 6, 2024, in a private ceremony attended by several WWE superstars, including Damian Priest, Austin Theory and many others. Numerous prominent faces of World Wrestling Entertainment (WEE) flooded social media with their well-wishes for the couple after they got married.

Finally, at the fourth spot in our list of the top four WWE wrestlers who found their partners outside the wrestling world, we have the 48-year-old American professional wrestler, Allen Neal Jones, popularly referred to by his ring name “AJ Styles”.

Often hailed as one of the most commemorated wrestlers in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), AJ Styles met his wife Wendy Jones, who worked as a high school teacher even before his wrestling fame skyrocketed. After facing their share of highs and lows, the couple finally got married in the early 2000s and started off happily ever after. As of May 2025, the couple have four children – Ajay Covell Jones, Avery Jones, Albert Jones and Anney Jones.
