Season 3 was supposed to be better than season 2. While the success of the 2nd season can be achieved, the director has changed. Now it won’t hit as hard as everyone would have liked it. 

Daniel Levy, Tottenham owner has decided that Ange Postecoglou needs to go and Tottenham Hotspurs will again be searching for a new coach.

This news has come after Tottenham managed to beat all odds and opponents and won the UEFA Europa League. They won a major trophy after 17 years, but still Ange was sacked as they did not finish well in the English Premier League. They finished 17th in the league and just above the relegation zone. Although there was no chance of them being relegated, finishing at 17th position for a ‘top 6’ club is a big disappointment. 

Tottenham have suffered this season due to the number of injuries to the squad, they have been hit with multiple injuries to several players that have derailed their season. Their football has been very different from others in the Premier league, Ange likes to play attacking football and just leave the defending on the defenders.

His football required an intensive pressing regime with full-time running around the field which had made them quite prone to injuries. 

It has been a rollercoaster of a season for the Hotspurs and to add to more confusion, Ange has been sacked after 2 seasons. He wrote on his social media “When I reflect on my time as Manager of Tottenham Hotspur my overriding emotion is one of pride,” he said.
