Mumbai Indians (MI) bowler Trent Boult continued his excellent form in the IPL 2025 match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.

After MI set a target of 217 runs, Boult made a strong start with the ball. Though he was hit for two sixes by Yashasvi Jaiswal in the second over, his response to the attack was impressive, bowling brilliantly after the early hits.
On the fourth ball of the over, Trent Boult bowled a good-length delivery at 139.6 km/h. Yashasvi Jaiswal tried to hit it across the line but missed, and the ball crashed into his stumps.
What stood out was Boult’s reaction. Known for not celebrating much, this time he looked fired up and even gave Jaiswal a send-off after taking the wicket.

Boult later dismissed Nitish Rana as well, picking two wickets in the powerplay. Though he gave away some runs early, he made a big impact with figures of 2/28 by the end of the powerplay.
He added another wicket in the final overs, finishing with excellent figures of 3/28. His performance helped Mumbai Indians bowl out Rajasthan Royals for just 117, winning the match by a huge margin of 100 runs.
With this win, MI moved to the top of the points table with a strong net run rate. It was also their sixth straight win, an impressive comeback after starting the season with only one win in their first four games.
