The UEFA Euro U21 gets underway in Slovakia from June 11. Some of the world’s best football prodigy from the continent will take the opportunity to make a case for themselves.
Italy and Spain are the most successful teams in the history of the tournament. Both the teams have five titles each. England are the reigning Euro U21champions, having beaten Spain 1–0 in the 2023 final.
UEFA Euro U21:Format
A total of 16 teams are playing in the tournament that his held every two years. These teams are split into four groups. Each team will play the other sides in their group once in a single round robin format. At the end of the league stage, the four group winners and four runners-up make it to the quarter-finals, thus entering the knock-out phase.
