Netherlands was up against Poland in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday night, 11th June. The hosts scored two goals in the game but still ended with a single point in the end. Dutchmen faced a disappointing and frustrating draw against Poland on Saturday. It was an entertaining game between the two as both the teams played some great football.

Underdogs Poland took the lead against the Netherlands as Aston Villa’s right-back Matty Cash scored the first goal of the game which gave a huge boost to the visitors. Dutchmen were behind a goal in the first half and trailed by 2-0 just at the start of the second half after Polish midfielder Zielinski scored an amazing goal.

After that team goal from Poland, Netherlands made a strong comeback in the game as they scored two goals in quick succession to equalise the score with Poland. Midfielder Klaassen scored in the 51st minute and Inter Milan right-back Dumfries scored the equalising goal in the 54th minute which was assisted by Memphis Depay. This was Dumfries’ two goals in two consecutive games in the UEFA Nations League.
