This time the United States is not only hosting the Olympics but also showing a strong presence in tennis. Five US players are currently in the top 11 of the WTA rankings and four American men are in the top 16 of the ATP rankings. He said, “LA is very close to my home and if I qualify, my family and friends will be able to support me live. That will be a dream moment for me.”
4. Learner Tien: Just 19 and already beating top 10 names
Learner Tien made it to the fourth round of the 2025 Australian Open after entering through qualifiers. The 19-year-old player from California defeated three top 10 players this season including Daniil Medvedev.
