USA vs NAM: Both Teams will aim to win this game with a lot at stake
USA will take on Namibia in the upcoming match of the Men’s T20 World Cup at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The two sides are coming into the game with contrasting results in their last matches, respectively and would want to put their best foot forward and come out on the right side of the result in this particular contest.
The USA would hope to replicate the same performance that they delivered with the bat against the Netherlands by posting 196 runs on the board.
Along withe bat, the captain and the team management would also back the bowlers to pick wickets at regular intervals against Italy as they did against Nethertlands which resulted in a 93-run win.
Namibia, on the other hand, would also eye a complete performance in all three departments of the game, which wasn’t the case in the previous match against India. The onus will be on the captain, as far as Namibia’s batting lineup is concerned, to control things in the middle order.
USA vs NAM: Captains’ Speak.
Monank Patel, the USA captain, after winning the toss, said that they will be batting first as the pitch for this particular game looks a lot different from what they played on against the Netherlands. Monank said that it is a red soil wicket, so the ball will come nicely on the bat, and they want to continue the momentum that they have on their side after a strong batting performance against the Netherlands.
Gerhard Erasmus, the Namibian captain, said that they don’t mind bowling first, but also hoped that the bowlers would be able to make use of whatever help is available in the wicket in the first half of the game. He admitted that he will have to lead from the front.

USA vs NAM: How will the Pitch Behave
The pitch, as mentioned above, for this game is a red soil one, meaning that it will have good bounce, which can be used by the batters to their advantage, and we can be in for a high scoring contest with the USA team, which is batting first being high on confidence after a strong performance with the bat in the last match.
200-210 is the score that the USA should look to score to stay ahead in the game and back the bowlers to provide early breakthroughs in the second innings.
