Among those traveling in the first batch from Delhi to Perth were Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Harshit Rana, KL Rahul, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Prasidh Krishna, along with members of the support staff. The rest of the squad, including head coach Gautam Gambhir, will leave for Australia later in the evening.

After drawing the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2-2 in England, Shubman Gill began his captaincy journey on a high note with a clean sweep against the West Indies at home. Now, the young Punjab star is eager to continue that winning momentum as India takes on Australia in the upcoming ODI series.
The first ODI will be played on October 19 in Perth, followed by matches on October 23 at the Adelaide Oval and October 25 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. After the ODIs, Team India will switch gears for the T20I series, starting October 29 at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, with Suryakumar Yadav leading the side.
