Vince McMahon Continues Selling TKO Shares After WWE Exit

Recently, it was reported that Vince McMahon, former CEO of WWE, is selling his TKO Group shares. He sold a large part of his shares to Endeavor Group Holdings, which is the biggest owner of WWE and UFC’s parent company.

According to SEC documents, on June 3, 2025, Endeavor bought 1.579 million Class A shares of TKO from Vince McMahon in a private sale. Each share was priced at $158.32, making the total about $250 million. The deal was completed on June 4.

Vince McMahon, who was the CEO of WWE, sold WWE to Endeavor in 2023 and then started the TKO Group. Now, Endeavor owns 61.7% of all TKO shares, as stated in the SEC filing. This year, Endeavor merged with Silver Lake in a $25 billion deal and made the company private.

By April 15, 2025, McMahon owned about 8 million TKO shares. This means he had 9.8% of the company’s economic ownership and 4.1% of the voting rights. These numbers come from TKO’s latest 10-K report.

With this recent sale, Vince McMahon has sold over $2 billion worth of TKO shares so far. In April 2024 alone, he sold shares worth $311.2 million to TKO and Endeavor.

McMahon was a board member of TKO but resigned in January 2024 after serious sexual assault and sex trafficking charges were made against him by a former WWE employee. McMahon denied these charges completely.

There were rumors that McMahon might want to buy WWE back. However, TKO has not confirmed this and has ignored the rumors.

If McMahon makes an offer that helps the shareholders, TKO will have to consider it. But right now, the company is not for sale.

Can McMahon buy WWE again?

On Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, WrestleVotes said that McMahon might try but it will be hard to buy the company again. They said, “He will try but the company is not for sale now. The name is creative and reminds us of WWE’s old history. Let’s see what happens.”

McMahon has started a new business called 14th and I. This name is a tribute to WWE’s old office, which was at 14th and I Street in Washington. WWE was once called Capitol Wrestling Corporation.
