Former U19 Teammate Wants Kohli Back in Test Cricket
Virat Kohli surprised everyone when he retired from T20Is and soon after confirmed his retirement from Test cricket at the start of the WTC cycle. His former U19 teammate Shreevats Goswami believes Virat Kohli stepped away from the wrong format.
“Ideally, Virat should have left playing ODIs & continued playing test cricket until he had nothing to give. Test cricket misses him. Not just as a player but just the energy he brought, the love & passion for playing for India, where he made the team believe that they can win in any condition,” Goswami wrote on X.
