Former Pakistani pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar hails Virat Kohli. Pakistani commentator praised the former Indian captain (Virat Kohli) and also talked about his recent form. Virat Kohli is not in a good touch lately and he is still finding out his 71st International century since 2019. It’s been three years that Kohli hasn’t had a century in international cricket.

Former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar feels team management should back Virat Kohli and thinks what he has done for Indian team is exceptional.

“But, as a Pakistani, why am I supporting Kohli? Well, he has 70 hundreds. Woh 70 sau khaala ke ghar mein ya candy crush khelte huye nahi banein hain (English translation: Those 70 tons were not scored in his aunt’s backyard or while playing Candy Crush),” said Shoaib Akhtar on his official YouTube channel as reported by Times Of India (TOI).

Pakistani bowler knows how good Kohli is and feels he can get back to his form. He also thinks removing him or resting him (Virat Kohli) from Indian cricket team is not the solution. Another Pakistani cricketer said two days ago that the more Kohli plays, the better will be for him.
