Brock Lesnar is officially the final member of The Vision’s team for Survivor Series: WarGames, and his arrival has completely shifted the direction of the match. The Beast walked out on Monday Night RAW after weeks away, and within seconds of confronting Team Punk, Roman Reigns returned as well. The red brand closed with a chaotic brawl that confirmed one thing: both sides are now set.
But for the first time in years, the heel team looks stronger. The Vision now has Brock Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Drew McIntyre, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul. The babyface side has CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns. On paper, it’s stacked, but the chemistry is uneven. That alone gives the heels an edge.
Here are four key reasons why The Vision is in the best position to win WarGames 2025.
4. WWE is not booking Brock Lesnar to lose
One major reason the heel side is favored is Brock Lesnar himself. WWE very rarely books Lesnar for losses, especially on big stages. Survivor Series is one of the company’s biggest events of the year, and handing Brock a defeat just after a dramatic return makes no sense creatively.
Lesnar has only recently reunited with Paul Heyman again, and this partnership is too valuable for WWE to weaken right away. If anything, a WarGames win sets up Brock as the real powerhouse of The Vision. A loss would remove the impact of his heel turn and slow down any plans WWE has for him.
The company has protected him for years, and Survivor Series 2025 will be no different.
3. Babyfaces have been winning for two straight years
History is also working against the babyface team. In 2023, Cody Rhodes’ group defeated Judgment Day. In 2024, Roman Reigns led another winning babyface team against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline 2.0.
WWE rarely repeats the same formula three years in a row. With how heavily stacked the heel lineup is this year, this feels like the perfect moment to reverse the trend and let the villains get a big win.
And unlike the heel groups of the last two years, this Vision lineup is full of heavy hitters: Brock, Bron Breakker, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Bronson Reed. This is not an underdog group by any stretch.
2. The Vision needs a major win to establish dominance
The Vision has looked dangerous at times, but they haven’t been positioned as a fully dominant force yet. A WarGames victory changes that instantly.
Adding Lesnar gives the group a huge upgrade, and a WarGames win could cement them as the top heel faction heading into 2026. WWE currently lacks a powerful heel stable that can carry a long-term storyline, and The Vision has the pieces to fill that gap.
With Paul Heyman guiding them and Brock Lesnar possibly stepping into a leadership role, the faction could become the main threat across both brands. But they can only reach that level if they win at Survivor Series.
1. Roman Reigns isn’t completely aligned with Team Punk
Roman Reigns may be back, and he may have joined CM Punk’s side, but there’s tension everywhere.
- He has long-standing issues with CM Punk.
- He’s still frustrated with The Usos after they cost him a match against Bronson Reed.
- His rivalry with Cody Rhodes continues, and Rhodes still holds the title Roman once carried.
This is not a united team. It’s a group held together by a temporary cause, not loyalty. In a WarGames match, unity matters more than star power. One moment of miscommunication between Roman, Punk, Cody, or the Usos could cost them the entire match.
Meanwhile, The Vision’s heel side is operating with a single goal: destroy the opposition.
