Indian cricket team are currently playing against England in the last Test match of the series at Edgbaston which started on 1st July. The game between India and England is equally poised. There were some sort of entertainment for fans during England’s first innings. When Jonny Bairstow was at the crease, Virat Kohli sledged him on the field.

The sledge from Virat Kohli worked out in an opposite way for him as Bairstow scored an emphatic century in the game. Bairstow was playing at a very slow rate. The English batter was playing at 13 runs in 61 balls before he had a verbal clash with Kohli on the field. After Kohli said him (Jonny Bairstow) to “Shut-up and bat,” he started firing as his strike rate had a huge rise after that.

“We’ve played against each other for a solid 10 years now. It’s a bit of craic. We’re fiercely competitive on the field and that’s what it’s about. We’re playing Test cricket and we’re two competitors. It brings the best out of us,” said Bairstow after the day 3 gameplay as reported by India Today.
