The American professional wrestling organization WWE produces and distributes several podcasts under the name “WWE Podcast Network.” WWE and Endeavor announced an expansion of their current agreement for the WWE Network in August 2019 that will allow for the creation of podcasts. The debut podcast, After the Bell, hosted by Corey Graves, was announced in October 2019.

The New Day’s three members such as Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods, announced their second podcast, “The New Day: Feel The Power,” for the following month. WWE’s The Bump, their third podcast, was added in April 2020. The podcast is an audio adaptation of their online series and includes interviews and show highlights. The 24-episode run of this audio adaptation of “The Bump” came to an end in July 2020.

It was stated that the WWE would introduce the fourth podcast in June 2020. Alexa Bliss said she would be hosting the podcast in an interview with Fox Sports. In September 2020, the Uncool with Alexa Bliss podcast made its premiere. The podcast will feature a variety of WWE wrestlers and famous people talking about their embarrassing youth. 12 episodes of the program were broadcast between September 2020 and December 2020.

WWE announced a brand-new project on Thursday, August 22, 2019, in a press release: their entry into podcasting. And this one appears to have a better chance of being both commercially and creatively successful for them than their film studio, WWE Studios.

The WWE undoubtedly has a sizable following everywhere, but that doesn’t mean starting a new podcast network isn’t difficult. For starters, there are already many popular wrestling podcasts on the market, and it seems like new ones are being released every day. Conrad Thompson, the undisputed king of the wrestling podcast industry, said that he will be releasing his fifth co-hosted wrestling podcast in September with WCW and Four Horsemen veteran Arn Anderson.

The fact that making podcasts is less expensive than making movies, and that the same budget for one of the WWE’s direct-to-video blockbusters might sustain numerous podcasts for a while, is another reason in their favour. Recap podcasts for their popular wrestling shows look like a no-brainer. If they decide to produce fiction podcasts, entrusting Endeavor Audio with the reins of their sci-fi audio and recruiting writers outside the WWE system seems to give them a strong shot at both creative and monetary success.

WWE and Endeavor Audio have agreed to work together to develop their podcast network with a variety of WWE Superstars. According to Jarvey, WWE and Endeavor were already connected before the podcast deal was revealed.

The WWE Network’s back-end technology is supplied by Endeavor Streaming. The Bellas Podcast is hosted by Nikki and Brie Bella, former WWE Superstars, on Endeavor Audio.

Professional wrestling has a big presence in podcasting, which has grown to be one of the most well-liked entertainment mediums. Recent years have seen tremendous success for podcasts featuring current and former WWE Superstars and executives, including “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Jim Ross, Eric Bischoff, Bruce Prichard, Edge, and Christian. WWE can offer itself even more exposure and give fans a chance to learn more about their favourite superstars by formally entering the podcasting space.
