Looks like wedding bells are on the horizon for Arjun Tendulkar, the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. Arjun recently got engaged to Saaniya Chandhok, who belongs to a well-known industrialist family but prefers to keep a low profile.
Saaniya Chandhok is an entrepreneur and will soon become Sachin’s daughter-in-law when she marries Arjun Tendulkar.

Who Is Saaniya Chandhok?
Saaniya Chandhok is the granddaughter of prominent Mumbai industrialist Ravi Ghai, a well-known figure in India’s hospitality and food industry. The Ghai family owns the InterContinental Hotel and Brooklyn Creamery. Coming from such a respected background, Saaniya will be marrying into another equally famous family.
Although not much is publicly known about her career, her social media suggests she is a veterinary technician and has completed an ABC programme from WVS.
Sources close to both families revealed that the engagement was a private ceremony attended by close friends and family. The couple has not yet announced their wedding date.
Arjun Tendulkar’s Cricket Career
Following in his father’s footsteps, Arjun chose cricket as his profession, although he has not yet achieved the same iconic status as the “Master Blaster.” While Sachin Tendulkar played for Mumbai and the Indian cricket team, Arjun represents Goa in domestic cricket.
At 25 years old, Arjun has played 17 first-class matches, scored 532 runs, and taken 37 wickets. He made his IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians in 2023. His most recent professional match was in 2024 against Manipur during the Vijay Hazare Trophy. It is still unclear when he will return to competitive cricket.
Sachin Tendulkar as a Father-in-law
Arjun is the younger child of Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar. His sister Sara is a couple of years older. Sachin married Anjali in 1995 when he was still actively playing for Team India. The couple has two children, and now, for the first time, Sachin is preparing to take on a new role in his personal life as a father-in-law.
