It has been brewing for a few months, ever since Triple H took over creative and their father-in-law John Lauranitis was fired from WWE from his role, and The Bella Twins have officially left WWE and have become the Garcia Twins, and there are a few reasons why they left WWE, and it is full of controversy. Everything was going well for The Bella Twins as long as their father-in-law was employed, but after he was fired, things began to fall apart.

This is one of the most significant departures from WWE during the Triple H era because the Bella Twins bring a lot of star power as well as being big reality TV stars, so it could be a loss for WWE and a possible gain for AEW.

So, here are the reasons why The Bella Twins left WWE:

This is one of the most likely reasons for their departure because, prior to the change in management, Vince McMahon was in charge of creative, and their father John Lauranitis was in charge of talent relations at the time, and they were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame despite the fact that there were far more deserving women. However, everything changed last year when Vince McMahon was forced to retire and John Lauranitis was fired from his position, and Triple H and his team took over, and the relationship between WWE and them has been strained ever since. Then, at Raw 30, they were advertised but then removed, which was the final straw.

Their contracts were up

Another possibility is that their contracts had expired and they chose not to renew them. They could have, but they felt they had not been respected as they should have, and the twins were ready to return to the ring before everything changed. Nikki Bella, in particular, was upset that Triple H did not invite them to Raw 30, and one thing led to another, and they recently left WWE. Triple H and WWE should have tried to renew their contracts because they are big stars in pop culture and could have brought more attention to WWE.

AEW gave them a better offer

As the fans are aware, they have changed their names to The Garcia Twins, which signals a change in their career. Even though they have stated that they will not be joining AEW, the writing is on the wall because they did not need to change their names because the world knows them as the Bella Twins and they could have used the name to get more money, but they changed it so that both of them are AEW bound and will be there within this year. Finally, it appears that AEW and Tony Khan made them a much better offer, which they accepted.
