Roman Reigns shocked the WWE Universe with his return on Monday Night RAW. He appeared during the main event where The Usos were battling Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. While fans were happy to see the Original Tribal Chief back, many noticed something unusual. Reigns only acknowledged Jey Uso after the match and completely ignored Jimmy Uso, who was left standing in the background.

Roman Reigns is grooming Jey Uso as the next Tribal Chief
Jey Uso has shown more leadership and authority than Jimmy in recent weeks. Roman may see Jey as the rightful heir to carry on the legacy of the Tribal Chief. By focusing only on Jey, Roman could be preparing him for that role while sidelining Jimmy.
Jey may have called Roman back
On an earlier RAW episode, Jey was caught talking on the phone backstage but didn’t reveal who it was. Many fans believe he was speaking with Roman. If that’s true, then Jey might have been the one to personally bring Roman back, which explains why the OTC gave him attention and not Jimmy.
A possible Reigns & Jey vs. The Vision storyline
WWE could be setting up a tag team match between Roman and Jey against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. With Seth Rollins busy preparing for his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, Roman needs another rivalry for the short term. By ignoring Jimmy, WWE may slowly write him off to focus on Roman and Jey as a tag team.
Roman feels Jimmy is holding Jey back
Jey’s aggressive side has started to shine, but Jimmy doesn’t seem to like it. Recently, Jimmy disagreed with Jey’s decisions, even when they went against LA Knight, who helped them earlier. Roman, however, may prefer Jey’s aggressive attitude and could believe that Jimmy is stopping him from reaching his full potential.

During Roman’s absence, Jimmy compared Jey to the Head of the Table and hinted that Jey could replace him. Roman may have taken offense to this. By ignoring Jimmy on RAW, Roman could be sending a message that he hasn’t forgotten those remarks.
