Indian cricket team will play against West Indies in the first ODI on Friday, 22nd July at Queen’s Park Oval cricket ground. India is on a short tour of West Indies where they will play 3 ODI series along with 5 T20I series against them. Shikhar Dhawan has been named captain for this ODI series. India will be looking to extend their series victory further whereas West Indies will be looking to regain their form in ODIs.
There will be many young players in the Indian team in this series as BCCI wanted to give them a bit of game time to see what the young players can deliver. As KL Rahul has been tested positive for COVID-19, he won’t be opening the innings with Shikhar Dhawan in this game. So, it will be interesting to see who opens with the Skipper in the first ODI.
