A women’s Twenty20 International is a cricket match between two members of the International Cricket Council (ICC) that lasts for 20 overs per side. Six months before the first Twenty20 International game involving two men’s sides, England and New Zealand played their first Twenty20 International game in August 2004. The premier competition in the format, the ICC Women’s World Twenty20, debuted in 2009.
20 is currently the most popular format worldwide. More women than anyone else play this format. Women’s cricket may have smaller boundaries than men’s, but they still require a fair bit of power to go over the ropes. From 2009 to 2020, seven women’s T20 World Cups were played. Let’s look at the women’s T20 World Cup players who have hit the most sixes.
