  • Australia: The Australians have overwhelmingly dominated the Women’s T20 World Cup since its introduction in 2009, with the Southern Stars winning 5 out of a possible 7 championships. As per the records mentioned above, the team has managed to register 5 championships to its name and has as well secured the Runners-up position in 2016. Moreover, they managed to reach the semi-final round in 2009.
  • India: Despite twice making it to the final of the Women’s Cricket World Cup, Team India, better known as the Women in Blue, has failed to lift the trophy yet. India lost the 2017 final to England by nine runs after losing the 2005 final to Australia by 98 runs. India’s women’s national cricket team competes in international women’s cricket. The Board of Control for Cricket in India, however, is in charge of it.
  • Bangladesh: This side earned a spot in the 2014 ICC Women’s World Twenty20, marking their debut at a top-tier women’s international competition. They are the reigning ACC Women’s Asia Cup champions. As per the above table, this team successfully reached Round 1 five times, and couldn’t be part of the T20 World Cups in 2009, 2010, and 2012.
  • England: In international women’s cricket, the England women’s cricket team competes on behalf of England and Wales. They were previously regulated by the Women’s Cricket Association, but since 1998 they have been under the control of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). However, this team successfully lifted the T20 trophy in 2009.

Overall, the outstanding contributions and successful track records of many teams have succeeded in inspiring cricket fans. In the current tournament, it is anticipated that the teams would recover and keep up their outstanding form.
