The inaugural edition of the World Abilitysport Beach Games is set to be held in Türkiye. The games will be staged on the Mediterranean coast in the southern part of the country. The 116km Mersin coastline boasts over 100 sports venues. Mersin Kultur Park will host athletes to the first ever Para event of its kind.
The World Abilitysport Beach Games will be held from 18th October to 26th October 2025. Being organized in collaboration with local organisers and the National Paralympic Committee of Turkiye, a diverse programme with a range of sports will be taking place at the event.

World Para Powerlifting World Cup at World Abilitysport Beach Games
The World Abilitysport Beach Games 2025 have been awarded World Para Powerlifting’s first outdoor World Cup to be held in Mersin, Turkiye.

The World Abilitysport Beach Games comes after the World Para Powerlifting Elite World Championships 2025 held in Cairo.
The competition will be held in the cultural hub of the Turkish city in an amphitheatre style venue.

The World Para Powerlifting World Cup joins the 2025 World Beach ParaVolley Championships which were recently announced for the programme in what will be their second edition.
