The United States released its final roster for the 2025 World Aquatics Championships following the conclusion of the 2025 U.S. National Championships in Indianapolis. 21 women and 26 men will represent the US at the World Championships in Singapore.
Claire Weinstein dropped the 1500 freestyle after finishing second from the early heats, which bumped Jillian Cox (third‑place finisher) onto the team.
Katie Ledecky passed on her individual slot in the 200 freestyle, earned by finishing second to Weinstein. That slot went to Torri Huske, though Huske may drop the event due to her already heavy schedule at the World Aquatics Championships 2025.
On the men’s side, Kieran Smith, who placed sixth in the 200 freestyle, was left off the team to stay within the limit. In the 50 freestyle, where Santo Condorelli placed second- earned a World Championship spot.
