The World Aquatics Swimming World Cup 2024 will be held in Incheon from 24 to 26 October for the next stage of the Asian leg.

After a thrilling campaign in Shanghai, the top swimmers will battle out in South Korea to continue their World Cup endeavors.

Maiden World Cup medalists Leon Marchand and Kate Douglass lead the rankings following the first stop in China.  However, they will face stiff competition from Noe Ponti and Regan Smith, respectively.

France’s Marchand returned to competition in China for the first time since his dream run at Paris 2024.He won his first three World Cup medals and set both a competition and European record in the men’s 200m medley.

Close behind the Frenchman is Swiss swimmer Ponti, who impressed last time out by breaking a 25m-pool world record in the men’s 50m butterfly. Other challengers include the likes of Duncan Scott and Pieter Coetze, who are in fine form too.

In women’s swimming, it is a neck-and-neck battle. Top two American swimmers will be fighting close. Douglass leads the way with a tally of 59.1 points in total, while Smith trails by just 0.1 points entering the competition in Incheon.

Another swimmer to watch out for is Siobhan Bernadette Haughey of Hong Kong, China who gave solid performances to win three golds, building her World Cup tally to a total of 22 medals.

Meanwhile, the Chinese duo Yu Yiting and Tang Qianting will look to build on their home races and move up the rankings.

World Aquatics Swimming World Cup 2024 Incheon: Schedule 

The events of World Aquatics Swimming World Cup will begin on Thursday (24 October) and will run over three days.

The Incheon campaign will begin with the women’s 400m freestyle heats, which will be the first medal on offer, and culminate with the men’s 800m freestyle.

World Aquatics will broadcast the Swimming World Cup in Incheon on their website in select territories. Eurovision Sport will broadcast all events for European fans, while in the United States it will be available to watch on NBC.
