World Boxing Cup 2025 Brazil: Full Roster of Team USA Ft. Carlos Flowers

Team USA are looking to bag gold at the World Boxing Cup 2025 in Brazil. 

Three American boxers competed on the opening day of the event in Foz do Iguacu led by their experienced pugilist Carlos Flowers out of Dover, Del. The 70 kg boxer secured the lone win for Team USA on Monday, March 31.

The country has 12 boxers competing at the World Boxing Cup Brazil 2025 and will be a testing ground for the athletes ahead of the World Championships this September in Liverpool.

The USA roster consists of 12 boxers, seven males and five females at World Boxing Cup 2025 Brazil.  

Three Olympians lead Team USA into the competition, as Jennifer Lozano, Alyssa Mendoza, and Morelle McCane make their first boxing international appearances since the Paris Olympic Games 2024

On the men’s side, Robby Gonzales will bring years of international competition experience, including a gold medal at the 2021 World Championships.

Team USA Coaching Staff

USA Boxing Head Coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.) will lead the charge throughout Team USA camp for the first World Boxing Cup of the year. 

National Resident Coach Timothy Nolan (Rochester, N.Y.) and new National Junior & Youth Coach Edward Fonteneaux (Fayetteville, N.C.) and Danilo Garcia (Oakland, Calif.) will serve as assistant coaches at World Boxing Cup 2025 Brazil.
