The World Skateboarding Tour (WST) kicked off the season in Rome against the backdrop of the Colosseum. Over 150 contestants will show their rolling skills with an aim to qualify for the LA28 Olympics.
The Skateboarding World Cup kicked off with the Park event from 1st to 8th of June at the famous bowl in Ostia, Lido di Roma.
Spain’s Egoitz Bijueska won the Park World Cup opener while Nagahara Yuro took second with Gui Khury, who hit the first 900 in park competition history on Saturday, in third place.
In the Women’s Final, half the field were Japanese. Hasegawa Mizuho of Japan took the title, while Australia’s Arisa Trew took the second spot. Japan’s Inomata Soya rounded the podium with a third place finish.
How much did the champions earn?
Egoitz Bijueska and Hasegawa Mizuho took home $40,000 each for winning the park title.

The WST World Cup Rome 2025 carries a total prize purse of $400,000, with $200,000 allocated each for the Men’s and Women’s divisions. This is split between the Park and Street competitions, with the Street event also having a $400,000 prize purse.
