WPL 2026 Prize Money: The final of WPL 2026 Final has been a moment of celebration for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who have retained their second Women’s Premier League trophy by registering a victory over Delhi Capitals (DC) by six wickets. Moreover, RCB received the highest prize money.

WPL 2026 Prize Money

In addition, as part of the WPL 2026 Prize Money, a whopping ₹6 crores was given to champions RCB, while runners-up Delhi Capitals received a handsome sum of ₹3 crores.

RCB’s Historic Run Chase in the Final

RCB’s victorious run was achieved through an awe-inspiring chase in a high-scoring finale. When they chased a tricky target of 203 runs, they were able to achieve 204/4 in 19.4 overs.

The winning runs were hit by Radha Yadav, who dispatched two consecutive boundaries to seal the match and bring joyous celebrations to the RCB camp.

Mandhana and Voll Power RCB to Victory

The integral cornerstone of an eventful chase was laid by an illustrious partnership between captain Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Voll. Mandhana led by scoring a dominant innings, 87 runs off 41 balls. Georgia Voll provided the perfect support with an assured innings of 79 in 54 balls. The duo combined to successfully destroy the Delhi bowling lineup and kept the requisite run rate under control.

Early Breakthrough Not Enough for Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals struck early when Chinelle Henry had Grace Harris cheaply in the second over. However, Mandhana and Voll responded with a cool head as the duo rebuilt the innings authoritatively. Even after their stand was broken, RCB kept their cool to win the chase easily.

Delhi Capitals Post Strong Total Batting First

Earlier in the match, DC put up an inspiring batting performance after being asked to bat first. They managed 203/4 in 20 overs courtesy of top-to-bottom contributions.

Chinelle Henry then played a destructive cameo, not out on 35 off just 15 balls. This included one brutal 19th over, where she smashed 24 runs off Nadine de Klerk. Laura Wolvaardt was quick to get off to a rapid 44 off 25 balls, until she got run out at the last delivery. Jemimah Rodrigues anchored the innings with a well-crafted half-century. A fluent 37-run knock by Lizelle Lee set the initial pace.

Delhi Capitals’ Title Wait Continues

Although they managed to post a competitive score, Delhi Capitals failed yet again in the final. This loss marks their fourth successive loss in the final of the WPL.

Meanwhile, RCB has once again achieved an historic championship trophy, which is crowned by the highest WPL 2026 Prize Money for the tournament, further etching their mark on the Women’s Premier League.
