WWE, or World Wrestling Entertainment, has fascinated audiences all over the world since its inception. It had been established in 1952 by Jess McMahon, but it was known as Capitol Wrestling Corporation at the time. After his death, his son inherited the firm, and the name was changed. Over the years, the company changed owners and names again, and in 2002, the company changed its name to World Wrestling Entertainment. Many WWE wrestlers rose to prominence as big figures in their own eras. Not everyone achieved their goals, but many took advantage of the publicity and success they received from WWE to become entrepreneurs and establish their own businesses. 

We will talk about the ten of these WWE superstars who have developed their own thriving business lines are listed below.

In 1984, Hulk held the WWE title. On the WWE tour, he was noted for his flamboyance. His fans are known as Hulkamaniacs. He also appeared in the film Rocky III. Hulk Hogan began his commercial activities after retiring as a full-time wrestler.  He has a couple of reality shows and his own goods line. In his personal life, though, he was embroiled in a few scandals. As a result, it had a bad impact on his business operations. He later tried his hand at restaurant management. 

A widely recognized restaurant is Hogan’s Beach, a beachside restaurant in Tampa, Florida. In addition, he owns Pastmania in Minnesota. He also dabbled in a range of food-related ventures, including burgers, nutrition products, and energy beverages.

  • Torrie Wilson

A famous WWE female wrestler in her time, Torrie has tried her hands on many business ventures post her retirement. It mostly is related to the fitness industry like having a fitness website that provides many training programs. She has released many fitness DVDs over the years.

  • Ted DiBiase Jr

He, like his father, became a wrestler, but he was not as successful as his father. He then established Dofflin Strategies, which provides strategic planning and development. He also co-founded ‘Give Chat’, a digital startup.

  • Brie Bella and Nikki Bella

They are referred to as the Bella Twins. These sisters are regarded as some of the most successful businesspeople to have emerged from the WWE family. Forbes reported in 2017 that they are indeed constructing an empire. They have a successful lingerie line named Birdiebee. They also have their own reality program, Total Bellas, as well as a YouTube channel. They also wish to give back through charity. They are staunch supporters of women’s empowerment. They founded their own wine business, which solely sells online because they are wine lovers. However, they also state that none of this came easily. They have worked extremely hard for many years to get to where they are nowadays.

  • Diamond Dallas Page

DDP, as he is affectionately known, was a popular wrestler of his time but fell short of his full potential. In the American Wrestling Association, he became a manager. But he soon began wresting himself. He began his wrestling career when he was 35 years old. After retiring, he founded DDP Yoga, which has a global following. Many notable and well-known wrestlers, like Steve Austin and AJ Styles, have endorsed DDP Yoga as a means of staying fit and healthy.

  • Victoria

Lisa Marie Varon is her full name. She adopted the ring name Victoria. She just declared her intention to retire at the end of 2019. She and her spouse founded The Squared Circle restaurant a few years ago, but it closed after four years. It was a sports pub and restaurant with a wrestling theme. However, her social media team has hinted that they may open in a new location.

  • Trish Stratus

She is regarded as a WWE pioneer. Parricia Stratigeas is her given name. She aspired to be a doctor since she was a child. Life, however, had other ideas for her. Trish, another of the big female wrestling stars, founded her own yoga business named Stratusphere after retiring. Her studio is well-known and has received numerous prestigious prizes. She still retains the record for the most title reigns in the women’s division. Despite the fact that her career lasted only six years, she accomplished a great deal. As a result, at the age of 37, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. She was the youngest person ever inducted into the Hall of Fame at the time.

  • Jeff Jarrett

A legend of this game, he has his own company called Global Force Entertainment(GFE) which has partnered with Fite and works on sports-related content. GFE has also partnered with WrestingTravel offering fans options for travel and tickets related to wrestling events around the world.

  • Jim Ross

Jim Ross, who is not a wrestler but a well-known commentator in the wrestling industry, has ventured into barbeques, beef products, and barbeque sauce. His business has been a success.

  • Seth Rollins

He is well-known for being the only person to hold the United States Championship and the WWE Championship at the same time. He defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE title. He also has business ventures. He previously built the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. This was with his previous tag team partner Marek Brave. He established this academy in 2014. He recently began a new business enterprise. He has started a new coffee shop. It is in his native city of Davenport, Iowa.
