Many WWE championships are getting makeovers, with the Tag Team Championship design perhaps being leaked ahead of time. Since taking over as WWE’s Head of Creative in July, Triple H has made numerous changes and shows no signs of slowing down. HHH has left the design of the WWE titles unchanged, but if reports from championship specialists are to be believed, that won’t continue for long.

Here Are WWE Championship Belt Designs and Changes Over Time –
Winged Eagle Title (1988-1998)
Of course, “WWE Champion” is the catchphrase that immediately comes to mind whenever anyone mentions the WWE Championship. It’s an impressive title with a great design; the prominent eagle motif really makes it pop. The black and gold colour scheme is a perfect fit for the championship, so it looks like a top title. It’s simple to use and looks great in a wrestler’s hand, so it’s become a wrestling icon.
Big Eagle Title (1998-2000)
Many wrestling fans recall this title, and with good reason—it features an attractive layout that stands out from the crowd. The fact that it takes place during WWE’s most popular era is another reason why the title is so good; many fans have wonderful memories of that time. The large eagle is a classy touch. The blue accent and circular pattern in the middle are very nice touches.
WWE Undisputed Title (2002-2005)
The visual style of “Undisputed” seems like it was a mash-up of other previous games. It, too, included the eagle and world map that have served as a symbol for the company for the past three decades. The eagle was placed above the world map on the top of the plate, a design cue seemingly taken from 1980s Hogan belts. The more oval design was a welcome change from the disco-era ’70s original. In a similar vein to Big Eagle, it bore the McMahon family crest. The addition of a nameplate was a novel change. Big Gold had a nameplate for a long time, so it seemed natural to do the same here.
The Spinner Belt (2005-2013)
The Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) logo was topped with an eagle. It appears that the title and nameplate are the same size and shape as the Undisputed title. Foreshadowing future events, the WWE emblem took up the bulk of this belt. The real reason this belt lasted for so long is that it was a popular toy. A publicly traded company cannot pass up the opportunity to profit from this title.
Big Logo Belt (2013-2014)
When the Spinner belt became popular, WWE decided to try to replicate its popularity by making a similar toy belt. Big Logo belts are now used as a kind of supplementary advertising, with the logo serving as the foundation for the title and jewels serving as embellishments. First the Spinner destroyed the globe, and now Big Logo has vanquished the eagle. In other words, neither a globe nor an eagle can be found on the main WWE championship for the first time in 41 years.
